And Tiltheus and Steven dance that peculiar dance that straight men (or one straight man -- the other is cheerfully bi) do when they find they are growing more than fond of each other. Love seeketh not itself to please....
Plus a new chapter of ElvenSword. Steppan and Fluin draw closer, they meet that vicious old ball-breaker the Duchess of Carnia for the first time (she keeps on turning up like a lingering fart in every volume of The Tapestry of Life; and keep a weather eye out for her daughter and her son too, for you'll meet them again as well.) I'll be posting the next chapter, The Sword of Fanuiloth day after tomorrow. And that's when things start to happen. A Chance Encounter? Perhaps not, after all. The Mother has plans.....
