Soft incense

I cannot see what flowers are at my feet,
Nor what soft incense hangs upon the boughs,
But, in embalmèd darkness, guess each sweet
Wherewith the seasonable month endows
The grass, the thicket, and the fruit-tree wild -
White hawthorn, and the pastoral eglantine;
Fast-fading violets covered up in leaves;
And mid-May's eldest child,
The coming musk-rose, full of dewy wine,
The murmurous haunt of flies on summer eves.

Beauty is truth, truth beauty

Well, maybe.  Keats was talking about a Grecian urn (did it have male lovers on it, like so much red-figure pottery ?) But in my experience, beautiful guys to look at are so often total drongos, arrogant, solipsistic and up themselves, that its almost a truism.  But perhaps this guy is an exception.

Perilous seas

Charm'd magic casements, opening on the foam
Of perilous seas, in faery lands forlorn.

Magic is everywhere.  Just look.
