Neil Plakcy

I loved Neil Plakcy's gay Hawaiian detective, Timo Kanapa'aka, when I read the first book in the Mahu series, and the new novels in this series are if anything even better than the first one.  I recently reviewed Mahu Men, a collection of short stories about this tough but soft-hearted and thoughtful cop.

Anyway, I thought I'd give you the head's up that Neil is offering e-books on Amazon for just 99 cents, but only for the next few days:

Paws & Reflect
Invasion of the Blatnicks
Mr Surfer and Other Gay Erotica.

Thanks for thinking of me, Nigel. And Kimo does make an appearance in one of the 99-cent books, Mr. Surfer and Other Gay Erotica.

It seemed to me for a long time that the model for a gay erotic story began with the meeting of two guys, not with two already in a relationship. I've tried to play around with that idea in stories like Mr. Surfer and in others in the Mahu Men collection.
