This week is National Homelessness week in Oz. This article is about some of the success stories. So hard, when you have lost self-respect and self-confidence to climb out of the ditch. Yet people do.
Something between 20 % and 40% of homeless youth are gay or lesbian. Their parents throw them out (how much they must love their children!) or they take to drugs to reduce the pain, or they become sex workers.
Love one another as I have loved you.
It's crystal clear. Why can't they see it? Why are they purblind? Why?
