Rock Hudson

My lady and I have been watching a string of 1950s films starring Rock Hudson and various other famous 50s actors and actresses.  It seems clear he was picked more because of his looks than his acting ability.  But he was undoubtedly very handsome, even, in some shots, beautiful.  He was gay, and was the first film star to admit to having AIDS, which he died from in 1985.
