A Visit to Paris

Paris is my favourite city in all the world.  It's extraordinarily beautiful, its centre has been more or less spared the disfiguring eczema of modern architecture (apart from that monstrosity, La Tour Montparnasse), it has tree-lined streets, pavement cafés and of course Parisians.

Prolly I shall never visit it again (health, money) but today I experienced something almost as good.  My lady and I went to the flicks (tickets are 1/3 usual price on Monday at our favourite arthouse cinema) and watched My Old Lady.  It was as good as a trip to Paris, and a lot cheaper!
